La dirigente Giovanna Campo annuncia, con soddisfazione, l’approvazione per il suo istituto di un progetto Erasmus KA 229 – Partenariati Strategici per Scambi tra Scuole — dal titolo “A small choir for a great continent” ( un piccolo coro per un grande continente).
Il progetto, con durata biennale, si rivolge a studenti e insegnanti dell'istruzione primaria di sei centri in cinque paesi europei: due scuole in Spagna di cui una coordinatrice, la Polonia, la Grecia, la Croazia e l’Italia. Tutte le scuole coinvolte credono fermamente sul valore educativo e formativo del coro che, attraverso il linguaggio universale della musica, diventa strumento di comunicazione ed integrazione, favorisce un clima inclusivo e consente a ciascun alunno di migliorare la propria autostima, la tolleranza e la cooperazione. Tutte le attività avranno come scopo la realizzazione di un Coro europeo, formato dai bambini delle sei scuole partecipanti, che si esibirà negli incontri internazionali programmati portando un messaggio positivo attraverso la musica.
Il progetto è una grande ed entusiasmante opportunità per la scuola e i suoi piccoli alunni. Permettendo il coinvolgimento di un buon numero di studenti e docenti che allargheranno i loro orizzonti culturali, sociali e anche didattici, l’obiettivo del progetto sarà la promozione del patrimonio culturale europeo come valore sociale ed educativo, non dimenticando il riflesso che le esperienze vissute nell’ambito del progetto avranno sulle famiglie degli studenti stessi e su tutto il territorio. È previsto, infatti, un coinvolgimento attivo di tutta la comunità locale.
Le attività, saranno basate, soprattutto inizialmente, anche in funzione del periodo di emergenza Covid che tutto il mondo sta vivendo, sull’utilizzo delle TIC ( tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione), per favorire un uso consapevole delle nuove tecnologie e il miglioramento delle competenze linguistiche degli alunni e docenti. La piattaforma eTwinning che rappresenta la più grande comunità di scuole d’Europa, consentirà di mettere in contatto gli alunni dei diversi paesi e condividere le attività. Terminata l’emergenza Covid, potranno iniziare finalmente le mobilità per conoscere in modo più diretto le nazioni partner e consentire al nostro coro europeo di potersi esibire nel paese ospitante.

L’articolo appare come un bagliore di luce nel buio e nell’incertezza in cui navighiamo in questo periodo. Il momento che stiamo vivendo è senz’altro uno dei più difficili e complessi che la storia dell’uomo abbia mai conosciuto, ma la scuola non si ferma ed è fondamentale che i giovani studenti italiani, europei, del mondo riprendano con coraggio e fiducia il loro percorso, anche grazie alla musica che può diventare strumento di connessione e scambio e al cui richiamo occorre prontamente rispondere.
The headmistress, Giovanna Campo, announces, with satisfaction, the approval for her institute of an Erasmus KA 229 - Strategic Partnerships for Exchange project tra Scuole - entitled “A small choir for a great continent” (a small choir for a great continent). The two-year project is aimed at primary education students and teachers from six centers in five European countries: two schools in Spain, one of which is coordinator, Poland, Greece, Croatia and Italy. All the schools involved firmly believe in the educational and formative value of the choir which, through the universal language of music, becomes an instrument of communication and integration, fosters an inclusive climate and allows each pupil to improve their self-esteem, tolerance and cooperation. All the activities will aim at the creation of a European choir, made up of children from the six participating schools, which will perform in scheduled international meetings bringing a positive message through music.
The project, is a great and exciting opportunity for the school and its young pupils. By allowing the involvement of a good number of students and teachers who will broaden their cultural, social and even educational horizons, the aim of the project will be the promotion of European cultural heritage as a social and educational value, not forgetting the reflection that the experiences lived in he scope of the project will have on the families of the students themselves and on the whole territory. In fact, an active involvement of the whole school and extracurricular community is envisaged. The activities will be based, above all initially, also according to the period of Covid emergency that the whole world is experiencing, on the use of ICT (information and communication technologies), to encourage an informed use of new technologies and improvement the language skills of pupils and teachers. The eTwinning platform, which represents the largest community of schools in Europe, will allow pupils from different countries to connect and share activities. Once the Covid emergency is over, mobility will finally begin to get to know partner nations more directly and allow our European choir to perform in the host country.
